Upper dolpo trek is a popular trek situated north of Dhaulagiri range bordered to Tibetan plateau. The trek is also known as the "Caravan trek" where the famous Himalayan film maker Eric Valley made his Oscar nominated movie called "Caravan" later named as Himalaya. Trekking in upper Dolpo offers you the magnificent views of great Himalayan peaks, fascinating landscapes, old ancient monasteries, different communities, beautiful emerald lake as well as sparkling waterfall.

Trekking in upper Dolpo is restricted, for which a fee is charged 500$ for 10 days and 50$for every additional day. This trek brings you to Shey Gompa, which is said to be the spiritual heart of Upper Dolpo. Trekking around this region is a memorable Observing different rain shadow landscapes with stunning mountain views, wild flowers, Himalayan blue sheep, snow leopards, and huge birds Himalayan griffon. Enrich with ancient village, Buddhist monasteries, culture of the inhabitant and unique human civilization at high altitude is worth visit. 

Upper Dolpo trekking is quite a strenuous trek passing through three high passes Ngadra la (5375m), shey la (5000m) and Jeng la (5110m). Climbing and trekking above 4000m through an adventurous and exciting trail rewards you with the chance to view the Crystal Mountains of this region. This 25 days trek is a difficult and fascinating trek and requires previous trekking experience and good health.

Day 01: Welcome to Kathmandu. Upon your arrival our representative assist you from Tribhuvan International Airport to hotel. Enjoy the fine evening dinner and rest overnight.

Day 02: Today we take you a guided tour of Kathmandu valley, its world heritage sites like Pashupatinath, Syambhu nath etc. Prepare for the trek and rest overnight.

Day 03: Today early in the morning we fly from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj. Rest overnight.

Day 04:  Today we fly from Nepalgunj to Juphal (2475 m), and the walk for 6hours all the way to Chhepka (2838 m). Rest overnight.

Day 05:  Today we trek for 6hours from Chhepka (2838 m) to Chunuwar/Amchi Hospital (3110 m). Rest overnight.

Day 06:  Today we trek for 3hours from ChunuwarAmchi hospital to Ringmo/Phoksundo Lake (3733 m). Rest overnight.

Day 07:  Today early in the morning after a fine breakfast we hike for Ringmo/Phoksundo Lake (3733 m), explore the beauty and scenery of the place. Rest overnight.

Day 08: Today we trek for 5hours from Ringmo/Phoksundo Lake (3733 m) to Chunemba (3639 m). Rest overnight.

Day 09: Today we trek for 7hours through narrow valley of Phoksundo from Chunemba (3639 m) to Snowfields Camp (4400 m). Rest overnight.

Day 10:  Today we trek for 6hours from snowfield camp (4400m) to Shey Gompa (4310 m) via Kang La (5375 m). Rest overnight.

Day 11:  Rest day Shey Gompa (4310 m). Explore the scenic view from Tsakang Gompa (4575 m) and view the fascinating Crystal Peak. Rest overnight.

Day 12: Today we trek for 6hours from Shey Gompa (4350 m) to Namgung (4430 m) via Shey La (5000 m). Rest overnight.

Day 13: Today we trek for 3hours from Namgung (4400 m) to Saldang (4060 m). Rest overnight.

Day 14: Today we trek for 5hours from Saldang (4060 m) to Sibu (4200 m). Rest overnight.

Day 15: Today we trek for 4hours from Sibu (4200 m) to Lagmo Che (4570 m). Rest overnight.

Day 16: Today we trek for 7hours from Lagmo Che (4570 m) to Tokyu (4209 m) via Jeng La (5110 m). Rest overnight.

Day 17: Today we trek for 2hours from Tokyo (4209 m) to Dho Tarap (4080 m). Rest overnight.

Day 18: Today we trek for 4hours from Dho Tarap (4080 m) to Sisaul (3750 m). Rest overnight.

Day 19: Today we trek for 7-8hors from Sisaul (3750 m) to Laina Odar (3370 m). Rest overnight.

Day 20: Today we trek for 5hours from Laina Odar (3370 m) to Lingdo (2391 m). Rest overnight.

Day 21: Today we trek for 5hours from Lingdo (2391 m) to Dunai (2140 m). Rest overnight.

Day 22: Today we trek for 3-4hours from Dunai (2140 m) to Juphal (2475 m). Rest overnight.

Day 23: Today early in the morning we fly from Juphal to Nepalgunj and then after having your lunch we fly back to Kathmandu. Rest overnight.

Day 24: Leisure day in Kathmandu. Today you can visit Kathmandu city or rest for entire day and night.

Day 25: Today we assist you to the International Airport for your safe departure.
