Dhaulagiri trek is the most challenging and adventurous trekking route in Nepal. Next to Annapurna in the mid-west part of Nepal lies Dhaulagiri range filled with panorama of giant mountains, remote villages, wilderness, different mixed-up culture and religion, wildlife, vegetation and adventurous photographic destination. Trekking into Dhaulagiri needs sense of adventure and ability to deal with unexpected. Dhaulagiri trek gives you the immense view of mountains, culture and religion.
Dhaulagiri trek starts from Beni following kaligandaki the deepest George of the world all the way to Jomsom. This is an exciting trek that passes through high passes, hidden valley, sacred Muktinath temple, Buddhist monasteries and their culture, spectacular scenery, paradise village like Marpha and kagbeni. Dhaulagiri trek also give you impressive display of wild life, different flora and fauna, variety of oak and rhododendron. This is a camping trek so porters are necessary in order to carry all gear and foods. Geographically this is a dramatic contrast trek and required previous trekking experience and good health.
Trek in Dhaulagiri is a 21days trek filled with excitement and adventure. This trek gives you a chance to view the deepest and highest region of Nepal. Dhaulagiri refer to White Mountain as it is snowcapped.
Day 01: Welcome to Kathmandu. We assist you from the Tribhuvan International airport to hotel. Rest overnight.
Day 02: Today we take you to a guided trip around the Kathmandu valley. We visit the world heritage sites. Prepare for the trip. Rest overnight.
Day 03: Today we drive for 8hours from Kathmandu to Beni (850m). Rest overnight.
Day 04: Today we start our trek from Beni and walk for 5hours all the way to Babiachor (950m). Rest overnight.
Day 05: Today we trek for 6hours from Babiachor to Dharapani (1,400m). Rest overnight.
Day 06: Today we trek for 5hours from Dharapani to Muri (1,850m). Rest overnight.
Day 07: Today we trek for 6hours from Muri to Boghara (2,080m). Rest overnight.
Day 08: Today we trek for 5hours from Boghara to Dobang (2,520m). Rest overnight.
Day 09: Today we trek for 5hours from Dobang to Choriban Khola (3,110m). Rest overnight.
Day 10: Today early in the morning we trek for 7hours all the way to the Italian Base Camp (3,660m). Rest overnight.
Day 11: Acclimatization day at Italian base camp. Explore and enjoy the scenery and natural beauty. Rest overnight.
Day 12: Today we trek for 6hours from Italian base camp all the way to the Glacier Camp (4,210m). Rest overnight.
Day 13: Today we trek for 7hours all the way to the Dhaulagiri Base Camp (4,740m). Rest overnight.
Day 14: Acclimatization and rest day. Rest overnight.
Day 15: Today Crossing the French Pass (5,360m) we trek for 6hours from Dhaulagiri base camp to the Hidden Valley (5,200m). Rest overnight.
Day 16: Today Crossing Dhampus Pass (5,200m) we trek for 6hours all the way to Yak Kharka (3,680m). Rest overnight.
Day 17: Today we trek for 5hours from yak Kharka all the way to Jomsom (2,710m). Rest overnight.
Day 18: Today early in the morning we fly for 30min from jomsom to Pokhara. Sightseeing around Pokhara. Rest overnight.
Day 19: Explore paradise city of Nepal. Visit the famous lakes and fishtail view. Rest overnight.
Day 20: Today we drive back to Kathmandu (1,345m). Rest overnight.
Day 21: Today after your lunch we assist you to the international airport for your safe departure.
