Botanical trekking and tours in Nepal special offer who are interested about the Himalayan Flora and Fauna. Nepal’s biodiversity is a reflection of its unique geographic position and variations in altitude and climate.

Nepal occupying only 0.1 % of the world's total land mass is surprisingly rich in bio-diversity. Nepal is a small country but you can find so many kinds of weather at the same time because of Altitude variations are from 67m to 8850 m from sea level. In Nepal more than 7500 types of plants are founded which is 2 % of all the flowering plants in the world. There are 399 endemic flowering plants in Nepal of which about 63% are from the High Mountain alpine meadows, 38% of the Mid Hilly regions, and only 5% from the Tarai and Siwaliks small hill.

Nepal is also extremely rich in indigenous medicinal plants. The medicinal and aromatic plants database of Nepal includes 1,624 species of wild, domesticated, and naturalized plant species. Of these, 1,533 are flowering and 91 are non flowering plants. Rhododendron flowers (Nepal Notational flower) can be seen in all the hilly regions of Nepal above 1,700m.  More specifically, the middle mountains vertical belt between 2000 and 4000m serves as the 'wild' preserve of the Rhododendron, or Lali Gurans as it is known in Nepali.

In spring (March and April) we operate treks to view Rhododendron, Magnolia, Daphne , Mahoniya, Pieris Formosa,  Inulas,  Primulas while in summer ( July and August) we classify treks to see  Primulas, poppies, Arisarma, Iris , Gentians ,Cirsium,  Berberis Croydalis,  Saxifraga,  Meconopsis and other wildflowers on the alpine slopes. Beyond the alpine scrub meadows, rocks and screes, there are colorful herbs, grasses and sedges.

The flowers blooming season varies from place to place -depending on the altitude, earlier in lower elevation and later in higher elevations .That means it requires precise knowledge which flower blooms where , when and lasts for how long.

We recommend Gokyo valley in Everest region, Langtang Valley in Langtang region and some western region for flower explorer and Botanical research trekking in Nepal.
