The Everest region also more popularly called Khumbu area is one of the most visited trekking region in Nepal. Everest region is also famous for the peak climbing and other adventurous activities in Nepal. Everest region lies on the lap of the world highest peak Mt. Everest (8,848m.) in the Eastern part of Nepal. Khumbu sector which is the home to Legendary Sherpa people and the Yeti is one of the best trekking destinations in the world. In the Northern part of the Everest territory laid the Sagarmatha National Park which inhibits and protects the most fragile alpine vegetation of the Nepal.
